I am very pleased to say that I have once again been chosen to receive support from the "Chance For Kids" society, out of Pemberton BC. The group has taken it upon themselves to fund-raise, and provide financial support for up and coming athletes in the Sea-to-Sky corridor of Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.
In three short years the scope of the society has grown substantially. I’m sure I speak for all of the recipients in saying that the support has made a huge impact on our ability to work toward our athletic goals. This is certainly true for me. I’d just like to thank all involved for their hard work and support. The moral and community support can go a long way toward one’s motivation. |
